Phantom Menace Concept Design
I had an email from a friend this morning who hadn’t known that I’d worked as a concept artist on Phantom Menace until watching the credits roll on the DVD recently. He asked what areas I had worked on and what I had made of the experience and, as it presents an opportunity to publish a few old drawings, I thought I’d answer his questions here.

This is Brett Ewins. We met in 1976, I think, at Ealing School of Art. We were very close friends for a few years.
